Caramel Apple Cider Whip

Caramel Apple Cider Whip

A cozy, whimsical fall drink that combines warm apple cider, creamy caramel, and a dreamy whipped topping. Perfect for chilly evenings, autumn gatherings, or whenever you crave a sweet, comforting treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 23 tablespoons creamy caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar (optional, to taste)
  • Whipped cream (canned, homemade, or non-dairy)
  • Cinnamon, for sprinkling
  • Apple slice, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour 2 cups of apple cider into a medium saucepan and heat over medium until steaming hot, but not boiling.
  2. Stir in 2-3 tablespoons of caramel sauce and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Whisk until caramel is melted and mixture is smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness: add 1 teaspoon brown sugar if cider is tart, or a splash of lemon juice if too sweet.
  4. Pour hot caramel apple cider into a mug.
  5. Top generously with whipped cream.
  6. Drizzle extra caramel sauce over whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  7. Garnish with an apple slice if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For dairy-free, use coconut or almond whipped topping and non-dairy caramel. Warm your mug before serving to keep the drink hot longer. For iced version, chill cider mixture and pour over ice before topping. Customize with extra toppings like nutmeg, graham crackers, or a pinch of flaky salt.
