Caramel Bacon Maple Latte

A cozy, sweet-and-savory brunch latte featuring creamy milk, real maple syrup, caramel sauce, and crispy bacon bits. This over-the-top coffee shop treat is perfect for impressing guests or indulging in a lazy weekend morning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 slices cooked crispy bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 cup milk (whole, 2%, oat, almond, or soy)
  • 12 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Extra caramel sauce (optional, for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Cook 2-3 slices of bacon in a skillet or oven until crispy. Let cool slightly and chop into small pieces.
  2. Brew a double shot of espresso or 1/2 cup of very strong coffee.
  3. Heat 1 cup of milk in a small saucepan over low heat until steaming but not boiling. Froth the milk using a frother, whisk, or shake in a jar until foamy.
  4. Add 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup and 1 tablespoon caramel sauce to the bottom of a large mug. Swirl together.
  5. Pour hot espresso or coffee over the syrup and caramel mixture. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Slowly pour in the hot, frothed milk, holding back the foam with a spoon, then spoon the foam on top.
  7. Sprinkle crispy bacon bits over the foam. Add whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, use real maple syrup and crispy bacon. Oat milk froths especially well for dairy-free versions. Bacon can be made ahead and re-crisped before serving. Adjust sweetness to taste. Clean mugs promptly to avoid sticky caramel residue.
