Ingredients

  • Club soda (about 1 cup per drink)
  • Fresh fruits: lemons, limes, oranges, berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), watermelon, pineapple
  • Fresh herbs: mint, basil, rosemary
  • Natural sweeteners: honey, agave syrup, simple syrup (optional, about 1 teaspoon per drink)
  • Freshly squeezed citrus juice: lemon, lime, orange
  • Other flavors: ginger (fresh or syrup), cucumber slices, coconut water (1/4 cup per drink), splash of juice (optional)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Classic Citrus Mint Fizz: Fill a glass with ice. Add 2 slices of fresh lemon, 2 slices of lime, and a few mint leaves. Muddle gently with a spoon to release flavors. Pour in 1 teaspoon honey or agave (optional). Top with club soda (about 1 cup). Stir, add a mint sprig for garnish, and serve.
  2. Berry Basil Sparkler: Drop a handful of mixed berries into your glass. Add 3-4 fresh basil leaves. Muddle the berries and basil together. Add ice and 1 teaspoon simple syrup. Fill with club soda, stir, and garnish with a berry and basil leaf.
  3. Watermelon Cucumber Cooler: Cut 4 small chunks of watermelon and 4 slices of cucumber. Muddle in your glass until juicy. Add ice and a squeeze of lime. Top with club soda and stir. Garnish with a cucumber wheel.
  4. Ginger Lemon Zing: Grate a thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger (or use 1 teaspoon ginger syrup). Mix ginger with juice of half a lemon in your glass. Add ice and 1 teaspoon honey (optional). Pour over club soda, stir well. Garnish with a lemon slice.
  5. Pineapple Mint Refresher: Add 1/2 cup pineapple chunks and 3 mint leaves to your glass. Muddle well. Fill with ice and club soda. Stir, then garnish with pineapple wedge and mint.
  6. Orange Rosemary Spritz: Slice half an orange and add to glass. Add 1 small rosemary sprig. Muddle to release the oils. Add ice, club soda, and a splash of orange juice. Stir and garnish with rosemary.
  7. Coconut Lime Splash: Pour 1/4 cup coconut water into your glass. Add juice of half a lime and ice. Top with club soda. Stir, and garnish with lime wedge.

Notes

Chill club soda before mixing for maximum fizz. Use big ice cubes to prevent watering down. Adjust sweetness to taste or omit sweetener for sugar-free. Layer ingredients for best flavor and presentation. Strain if you prefer a smoother drink. Use ripe, fresh fruit and herbs for optimal flavor.
