  • 2 shots (2 ounces) espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond, oat, or coconut milk)
  • 23 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • Marshmallows (regular or gourmet)
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew your espresso or strong coffee (about 2 shots or 2 ounces).
  2. Heat your milk using a frother or a small saucepan until hot and velvety.
  3. Drizzle 2–3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup into your mug.
  4. Pour the espresso over the chocolate syrup and stir until well combined.
  5. Add the steamed milk to the mug, pouring slowly to maintain frothy texture.
  6. Top with marshmallows, arranging them in a single layer.
  7. Toast the marshmallows using a kitchen torch or under the broiler for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  8. Optional: Add whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup on top.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use almond, oat, or coconut milk and dairy-free chocolate syrup. Keep an eye on the marshmallows while toasting to avoid burning.
