iced caramel vanilla latte

This dreamy Iced Caramel Vanilla Latte is a sweet, creamy coffeehouse-style treat you can easily make at home. Rich espresso, vanilla syrup, milk, and caramel sauce come together over ice for the ultimate refreshing pick-me-up.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz (about 1/4 cup) espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee (or 1/3 cup cold brew concentrate + splash of water)
  • 3/4 cup milk (whole, 2%, skim, oat, almond, or coconut milk)
  • 12 tablespoons vanilla syrup
  • 12 tablespoons caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)
  • Ice (enough to fill glass 3/4 full)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Brew a double shot of espresso (2 oz) or 1/2 cup strong coffee. If using cold brew concentrate, use 1/3 cup mixed with a splash of water. Let cool for 1–2 minutes.
  2. Drizzle caramel sauce around the inside of a tall glass. Add enough ice to fill the glass about 3/4 of the way.
  3. Pour 1–2 tablespoons vanilla syrup into the glass.
  4. Add the cooled espresso or coffee over the ice and vanilla syrup. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Slowly pour in 3/4 cup milk of choice, letting it swirl for a layered effect if desired.
  6. Stir well to mix caramel and vanilla throughout. Top with whipped cream and an extra drizzle of caramel sauce, if desired.
  7. Serve immediately with a straw.

Notes

For best results, let your coffee cool slightly before pouring over ice to prevent dilution. Use coffee ice cubes for a stronger flavor. Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of vanilla syrup and caramel. For a dairy-free version, use oat, almond, or coconut milk. Whipped cream and extra caramel drizzle are optional but highly recommended for a coffeehouse feel.
