Maple Pecan Pie Latte

Maple Pecan Pie Latte

A warm, nutty, and sweet latte inspired by pecan pie, perfect for cozy fall mornings or holiday treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup freshly brewed coffee or espresso
  • 1 cup milk (whole milk, almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons toasted pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Toast the pecans: In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the pecans for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Brew your coffee: Brew a shot of espresso or about 1/2 cup of strong coffee.
  3. Blend the pecans: Add the toasted pecans, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a splash of milk to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  4. Heat the milk: In a small saucepan, gently heat the remaining milk until warm but not boiling.
  5. Combine and froth: Pour the pecan mixture into the saucepan with the milk. Use a frother or whisk to mix and froth the milk.
  6. Assemble the latte: Pour the coffee into a mug, then top it with the maple pecan milk mixture. Stir gently to combine.
  7. Garnish: Add whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and crushed pecans on top.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use oat milk or almond milk. Adjust sweetness by starting with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and adding more to taste.
