Raspberry Lemonade Float

Raspberry Lemonade Float

This Raspberry Lemonade Float combines tart lemonade, juicy raspberries, and creamy vanilla ice cream for the ultimate refreshing summer dessert drink. It’s easy to make, fun to serve, and perfect for cooling off on a hot day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup chilled lemonade (homemade or store-bought, preferably with real lemon juice)
  • 1/4 cup fresh or thawed frozen raspberries (plus extra for garnish)
  • 12 scoops vanilla ice cream (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Lemon slice, for garnish (optional)
  • Splash of club soda or lemon-lime soda (optional, for fizz)
  • Sugar or simple syrup, to taste (optional, if needed)

Instructions

  1. Optional: Place tall glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill.
  2. Add about 1/4 cup raspberries to the bottom of each glass. Gently mash a few with the back of a spoon to release juices if desired.
  3. Pour in 1 cup chilled lemonade, filling the glass about halfway. Stir gently if you mashed the raspberries.
  4. Add 1-2 large scoops of vanilla ice cream to each glass.
  5. Optional: Top with a splash of club soda or lemon-lime soda for extra fizz.
  6. Garnish with extra raspberries and a lemon slice if desired.
  7. Serve immediately with a straw and long spoon.

Notes

For best results, use very cold ingredients and serve immediately. Adjust sweetness by adding sugar or simple syrup if needed. For a dairy-free or vegan version, use coconut or oat-based vanilla ice cream. You can prep lemonade and raspberries ahead, but assemble floats just before serving. Try muddling raspberries with lemon zest for extra flavor.
