Sparkling Peach Pie Iced Tea

Sparkling Peach Pie Iced Tea

Sparkling Peach Pie Iced Tea is a refreshing summer drink that combines the cozy flavors of homemade peach pie with the light, fizzy twist of sparkling water. It’s perfect for hot days, picnics, and gatherings, offering juicy peach sweetness, a hint of cinnamon, and a bubbly finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 ripe fresh peaches, washed, pitted, and sliced (or canned peaches, drained)
  • 34 black tea bags (or loose leaf equivalent)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
  • 1/4 cup honey or brown sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups sparkling water (plain or peach-flavored)
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
  • Thin peach slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice 2-3 ripe peaches, removing pits and cutting into thin wedges. Leave skin on for extra color and flavor.
  2. Boil 4 cups of water in a kettle or saucepan. Add 3-4 black tea bags and a cinnamon stick. Let steep for 5-7 minutes, then remove tea bags and cinnamon stick.
  3. While tea is hot, stir in 1/4 cup honey or brown sugar until dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
  4. Place sliced peaches in a large pitcher. Pour sweetened tea over peaches. Let sit for at least 30 minutes to infuse flavors. Chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours if possible.
  5. Just before serving, squeeze in juice of half a lemon and stir gently.
  6. Fill glasses with ice. Pour peach tea about 2/3 full, then top each glass with sparkling water (about a 2:1 ratio of tea to sparkling water).
  7. Garnish with peach slices and mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately for best fizz.

Notes

Taste and adjust sweetness based on your peaches. For a vegan or low-sugar version, use agave or stevia. Add sparkling water right before serving to keep it fizzy. Freeze peach slices for ice cubes to avoid watering down the drink. For extra peach flavor, blend half the peaches before adding to the pitcher.
