Salted Caramel Mocha Latte

A cozy, indulgent drink that combines rich chocolate, buttery caramel, creamy coffee, and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt. Perfect for any season and easy to make at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 shot of espresso or 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup of milk (whole, almond, oat, or coconut milk)
  • 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of chocolate syrup
  • Flaky sea salt (for topping)
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Sugar (optional, to taste)

Instructions

  1. Brew one shot of espresso or about 1/2 cup of strong coffee. Set it aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, warm 1 cup of milk over medium heat until steaming (do not boil).
  3. Froth the milk using a milk frother, whisk, or jar-shaking method.
  4. In your mug, combine 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce and 1 tablespoon of chocolate syrup. Stir in the hot coffee or espresso until well blended.
  5. Pour the steamed milk into the mug, holding back the foam with a spoon. Spoon the foam on top.
  6. Add a dollop of whipped cream, drizzle with extra caramel sauce and chocolate syrup, and sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a non-dairy version, use almond, oat, or coconut milk. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less caramel and chocolate syrup. Use high-quality flaky sea salt like Maldon for the best flavor.
