Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (1 liter) apple cider
  • 2 cups (500 ml) orange juice
  • 1 cup (250 ml) cranberry juice
  • 1 orange, sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 apple, sliced into thin rounds
  • Optional: 1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
  • 23 cinnamon sticks
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cups (500 ml) club soda or ginger ale
  • Optional: 1 cup (250 ml) bourbon or spiced rum

Instructions

  1. Slice one orange and one apple into thin rounds for garnish. Optionally, slice a lemon for extra citrus flavor.
  2. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine apple cider, orange juice, and cranberry juice.
  3. Add cinnamon sticks and a pinch of ground nutmeg. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Sweeten the punch to taste with honey or maple syrup, starting with 1/4 cup and adjusting as needed.
  5. Chill the punch in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Before serving, add club soda or ginger ale for fizz. If using alcohol, stir in bourbon or spiced rum.
  7. Add the sliced fruit to the pitcher or punch bowl for presentation. Optionally, sprinkle fresh cranberries on top.
  8. Serve over ice in glasses and garnish with a cinnamon stick, if desired.
