A bold and flavorful Bloody Mary cocktail inspired by the spicy, creamy taste of Buffalo chicken dip. Perfect for brunch or game day, this easy homemade cocktail combines classic Buffalo flavors in a refreshing drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 4 oz tomato juice
  • 1 oz Buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 tbsp ranch dressing
  • 0.5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 0.25 tsp celery salt
  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • Ice cubes
  • Celery stalk for garnish
  • Pickle spear for garnish
  • Optional: blue cheese crumbles
  • Optional: smoked paprika or cayenne
  • Optional: pickled jalapeรฑo slices

Instructions

  1. Fill your highball glass with ice cubes to chill while you mix your cocktail.
  2. In your cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz vodka, 4 oz tomato juice, and 1 oz Buffalo wing sauce.
  3. Add 1 tbsp ranch dressing and 0.5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice into the shaker.
  4. Sprinkle in 0.25 tsp celery salt, a pinch of freshly ground black pepper, and 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Add ice to the shaker until itโ€™s about 2/3 full. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
  6. Dump the ice from your glass and fill it with fresh ice cubes. Strain the cocktail into the glass.
  7. Garnish with a celery stalk and a pickle spear. Optionally, sprinkle blue cheese crumbles or add pickled jalapeรฑo slices.
  8. Enjoy immediately while chilled and fresh.

Notes

Adjust the heat by varying the amount of Buffalo wing sauce. Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor. Large, clear ice cubes keep the drink cold longer without watering it down. You can mix non-alcoholic ingredients ahead and add vodka and ice just before serving. Stirring in the glass is an alternative if no shaker is available.
