A crisp and refreshing sangria combining the sweet, buttery notes of caramel with the flavors of apples and warming spices, perfect for fall gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 cups (475 ml) of apple cider
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) of caramel syrup
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) of caramel-flavored vodka
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • Apples (thinly sliced, Honeycrisp or Granny Smith recommended)
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • 12 cups (240475 ml) of club soda

Instructions

  1. Slice the apples into thin rounds or wedges, leaving the skin on for color and texture.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine 1 bottle (750 ml) of white wine, 2 cups (475 ml) of apple cider, and 1/2 cup (120 ml) of caramel syrup. Stir gently until the syrup dissolves completely.
  3. Add 1/2 cup (120 ml) of caramel-flavored vodka and the juice of 1 lemon. Stir again to mix well.
  4. Add the apple slices and a couple of cinnamon sticks to the pitcher.
  5. Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together. You can prepare this the night before for a deeper flavor.
  6. When ready to serve, add 1-2 cups (240-475 ml) of club soda to the pitcher for a bubbly finish. Stir gently to combine.
  7. Pour the sangria into glasses, ensuring each one gets a few apple slices and a piece of cinnamon stick. Optionally, drizzle caramel syrup on the rim of the glass for extra flair.

Notes

[‘Choose a dry white wine like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio for the best flavor balance.’, ‘Prepare the sangria ahead of time to allow the flavors to meld; add club soda just before serving.’, ‘Experiment with additional fruits like pears, oranges, or pomegranate seeds for a unique twist.’, ‘Avoid adding too much caramel syrup to prevent overpowering the other flavors.’]
