Cozy Snickerdoodle Latte

cozy snickerdoodle latte recipe - featured image

A warm, comforting latte blending cinnamon, vanilla, and brown sugar flavors reminiscent of snickerdoodle cookies. Perfect for cozy moments and easy to make at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee (about 60 ml or 120 ml)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) milk (whole milk or dairy-free alternative like oat or almond milk)
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Cinnamon stick or ground cinnamon for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew two shots of espresso (about 60 ml) or brew 1/2 cup (120 ml) of strong coffee.
  2. In a small saucepan, gently warm 1 cup (240 ml) of milk over medium-low heat until steamy with small bubbles around edges (about 3-4 minutes). Do not boil.
  3. Stir in 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon brown sugar into the warmed milk. Whisk gently until sugar dissolves and aroma develops.
  4. Froth the milk mixture using a milk frother, steam wand, or French press until creamy and slightly foamy.
  5. Pour espresso or coffee into a large mug. Slowly add the frothed milk mixture, holding back foam with a spoon to layer on top last.
  6. Top with whipped cream if desired, then sprinkle with cinnamon or garnish with a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.

Notes

Do not overheat milk to avoid scalding; aim for about 150ยฐF (65ยฐC). Use fresh cinnamon for best flavor. Frothing milk properly creates a luxurious texture. Adjust sweetness by reducing brown sugar or vanilla syrup as preferred. Can be made dairy-free or decaf. Leftovers can be stored up to 24 hours in fridge and reheated gently.
