A smooth and creamy cold brew iced latte topped with light, sweet vanilla foam, perfect for a refreshing and indulgent coffee treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold brew coffee
  • ยพ cup (180 ml) whole milk (can substitute oat or almond milk for dairy-free)
  • ยผ cup (60 ml) heavy cream, cold
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  1. Prepare your cold brew: If using store-bought, chill it well. If making at home, steep 1 cup (85 g) coarsely ground coffee in 4 cups (960 ml) cold water for 12-18 hours, then strain.
  2. Chill your milk and cream: Place both in the fridge at least 30 minutes before making the drink.
  3. Make vanilla foam: In a medium bowl, combine ยพ cup (180 ml) whole milk, ยผ cup (60 ml) heavy cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon powdered sugar. Whisk vigorously for 2-3 minutes until frothy and thickened, or use a handheld frother for about 1 minute until soft peaks form.
  4. Fill your glass with ice: Use enough ice to fill about ยพ of the glass.
  5. Pour cold brew over ice: Slowly add 1 cup (240 ml) cold brew coffee over the ice.
  6. Add the creamy vanilla foam: Gently spoon the foam on top of the cold brew.
  7. Serve immediately: Stir gently if desired, or sip as is.

Notes

Use cold dairy for best foam results. Whisk vigorously or use a frother to achieve soft peaks. Prepare foam just before serving to keep it fresh and airy. Large ice cubes help prevent dilution. For dairy-free, substitute milk and cream with oat or coconut milk and cream. Optional add-ins include cinnamon syrup or cocoa powder.
