A quick and creamy smoothie that captures the cozy flavors of a blueberry muffin with fresh blueberries, Greek yogurt, and milk, perfect for a wholesome breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (150g) fresh or frozen blueberries
  • ยฝ cup (120g) Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla
  • 1 cup (240ml) milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
  • ยฝ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ยผ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients: Measure out 1 cup (150g) of blueberries (fresh or frozen), ยฝ cup (120g) Greek yogurt, 1 cup (240ml) milk of your choice, ยฝ teaspoon vanilla extract, ยผ teaspoon cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup if using.
  2. Add ingredients to the blender: Place blueberries in first, then spoon in Greek yogurt, pour milk, add vanilla, cinnamon, and sweetener. If using frozen berries, add them straight in without thawing.
  3. Blend on high speed: Blend for 30 seconds, stop and scrape down the sides with a spatula, then blend again for another 30-45 seconds until creamy and smooth with no visible berry chunks.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness: Add more honey or syrup if desired and pulse for 10 seconds. If too thick, add a splash more milk and blend briefly.
  5. Pour and serve immediately: Pour smoothie into a glass or mason jar. Optionally sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top.

Notes

Use ripe fresh blueberries for more flavor or frozen for a thicker, chilled smoothie. Vanilla extract is key for the muffin aroma. Blend in stages and scrape sides for smooth texture. Adjust milk quantity for preferred thickness. Sweeten gradually with honey or maple syrup. For dairy-free, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut or almond yogurt and use plant-based milk.
