creamy espresso martini recipe - featured image

A smooth and decadent cocktail combining bold espresso, creamy texture, and vodka for a perfect pick-me-up or elegant treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce freshly brewed espresso
  • 1 ounce coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlรบa)
  • 1 ounce heavy cream
  • 0.5 ounce simple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill your martini glasses in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Brew a fresh shot of espresso (about 1 ounce) and let it cool slightly.
  3. Add vodka, coffee liqueur, heavy cream, cooled espresso, and simple syrup (if using) to a cocktail shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice cubes, leaving space to shake vigorously.
  5. Shake hard for 15-20 seconds until the mixture is chilled and frothy.
  6. Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass using a fine mesh strainer.
  7. Garnish with three espresso beans on top, if desired.

Notes

Use fresh espresso for best flavor and aroma. Chill glasses beforehand for a cooler drink. Shake vigorously to create a frothy top. For dairy-free, substitute heavy cream with coconut or oat cream. Avoid pouring hot espresso to prevent cream separation.
