A quick and easy creamy espresso martini made with cold brew coffee, coffee liqueur, vodka, and cream for a smooth, frothy, and indulgent cocktail perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) cold brew coffee
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlรบa)
  • 1.5 ounces (45 ml) vodka
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) heavy cream or half-and-half (or coconut cream/oat milk creamer for dairy-free)
  • 0.5 ounces (15 ml) simple syrup (optional)
  • 0.5 ounces (15 ml) freshly brewed espresso (optional)
  • 3 coffee beans or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill your martini glass in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Measure and pour 2 ounces cold brew coffee, 1 ounce coffee liqueur, 1.5 ounces vodka, 1 ounce heavy cream or creamer, and 0.5 ounces simple syrup (if using) into a cocktail shaker.
  3. Add ice cubes to fill the shaker halfway.
  4. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds to create a frothy, creamy top.
  5. Strain the cocktail through a fine mesh strainer into the chilled glass.
  6. Garnish with 3 coffee beans or a light dusting of cocoa powder.
  7. Serve immediately to enjoy the frothy texture and bold coffee flavor.

Notes

Use well-chilled cold brew for best frothy texture. Shake vigorously to create a creamy foam. Chill vodka and coffee liqueur beforehand to reduce dilution. Adjust sweetness with simple syrup to taste. For dairy-free, substitute cream with coconut cream or oat milk creamer. Adding freshly brewed espresso adds extra coffee punch but may warm the drink slightly. Garnish with coffee beans or cocoa powder for a classic finish.
