A quick and easy tropical smoothie made with frozen mango, yogurt, milk, and a hint of cardamom for a creamy, refreshing treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (150g) frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk (whole milk or plant-based alternatives)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • 34 ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Scoop 1 cup (150g) of frozen mango chunks into your blender. Add 1/2 cup (120ml) plain Greek yogurt and 1/2 cup (120ml) milk.
  2. Drizzle in 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup, depending on your sweetness preference. Add a pinch (about 1/8 teaspoon) of ground cardamom.
  3. Pour in 1 teaspoon of fresh lime juice.
  4. If desired, add 3-4 ice cubes for extra chill and thickness.
  5. Secure the lid and blend on high speed for 45 to 60 seconds until smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
  6. Check consistency: if too thick, add a splash more milk and pulse again; if too thin, add more frozen mango chunks or ice cubes and blend briefly.
  7. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.

Notes

Use frozen mango chunks for best texture. Greek yogurt provides creaminess and protein, but dairy-free yogurts like coconut or almond work well. Adjust sweetness gradually. Blend thoroughly and scrape sides for smooth texture. For vegan version, substitute dairy yogurt and milk with coconut yogurt and coconut milk. Serve immediately for best flavor and texture. Can refrigerate up to 24 hours; stir before serving.
