A soothing and creamy iced chamomile latte sweetened with honey and topped with a fluffy oat milk cloud, perfect for relaxing moments without caffeine.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chamomile tea bags or 2 tablespoons loose chamomile flowers
  • 1 cup (240 ml) hot water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) chilled oat milk (barista-style recommended)
  • Ice cubes (about 1 cup or 240 ml)
  • Optional: pinch of ground cinnamon or 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup (240 ml) of water. Pour it over 2 chamomile tea bags or 2 tablespoons of loose chamomile in a heatproof cup. Let steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags or strain out flowers. Stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons honey while the tea is still warm so it dissolves completely. Add cinnamon or vanilla if desired.
  3. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then place it in the fridge for about 10 minutes.
  4. Pour 1 cup (240 ml) of chilled oat milk into a frothing pitcher or jar. Froth with an electric frother for 20 to 30 seconds until airy and thick, or whisk vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup or 240 ml). Pour the chilled chamomile honey tea over the ice.
  6. Spoon or gently pour the frothy oat milk on top of the tea. Let it rest for a moment to form layers.
  7. Serve immediately. Stir gently before sipping if desired.

Notes

If oat milk doesnโ€™t froth well, warm it slightly to about 100ยฐF (38ยฐC) before frothing but do not overheat. Chill tea before adding ice to prevent dilution. Use barista-style oat milk for best froth. Honey dissolves best in warm tea. Store tea base refrigerated up to 2 days; make oat milk cloud fresh each time.
