A smooth and velvety cold brew coffee topped with a luscious Baileys Irish Cream foam, perfect for a cozy indulgence or a cafรฉ-worthy drink at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold brew coffee (diluted concentrate or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) heavy cream, cold
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) milk (whole or choice)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons simple syrup or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  1. Prepare your cold brew: steep coarsely ground coffee in cold water for 12-24 hours, then strain, or dilute cold brew concentrate 1:1 with water. Pour 1 cup (240 ml) into a glass with ice cubes to chill.
  2. Make the Baileys foam: In a chilled mixing bowl, combine 1/3 cup heavy cream, 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream, 2 tablespoons milk, 1-2 teaspoons simple syrup, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract if using. Whip on medium-high speed for 2-3 minutes until soft peaks form.
  3. Assemble the drink: Slowly spoon or pour the Baileys foam over the cold brew to create a layered look. Gently stir once if a marbled effect is desired.
  4. Serve immediately: Garnish with cocoa powder or coffee grounds if desired. Enjoy with a straw or spoon.

Notes

Use cold, fresh heavy cream for best foam results. Whip Baileys foam slowly and watch carefully to avoid overwhipping. Use large ice cubes to prevent quick dilution. Baileys foam holds for about 10-15 minutes. For dairy-free, substitute coconut cream and almond milk, and use Baileys Almande.
