A quick and easy creamy Oreo milkshake topped with homemade whipped cream, perfect for a nostalgic indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 to 10 whole Oreo cookies (classic or double-stuffed)
  • 2 cups (480 ml) vanilla ice cream (full-fat recommended)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) milk (whole milk preferred, almond or oat milk optional)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream (for whipped cream topping)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for whipped cream)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for whipped cream)
  • Chocolate syrup (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Chill mixing bowl and beaters in fridge for 15 minutes.
  2. Pour 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream into chilled bowl, add 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  3. Beat on medium-high speed until soft peaks form, about 3 to 5 minutes. Set aside in fridge.
  4. Place 8 to 10 Oreo cookies in a ziplock bag and crush into chunks.
  5. In blender, combine 2 cups vanilla ice cream, 1 cup milk, and crushed Oreos.
  6. Blend on medium speed for 30 seconds to 1 minute until smooth but still a little chunky.
  7. If too thick, add splash more milk and pulse again. Adjust sweetness with sugar or chocolate syrup if desired.
  8. Pour milkshake into tall glasses and top generously with homemade whipped cream.
  9. Optionally drizzle chocolate syrup on top.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Chill the mixing bowl and beaters before whipping cream for best results. Avoid over-blending the milkshake to keep Oreo chunks. Serve immediately for best texture. For a frosty glass, chill serving glasses in freezer for 10 minutes before pouring.
