A quick and easy homemade milkshake blending ripe bananas and creamy peanut butter for a smooth, nutty, and naturally sweet treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1/3 cup creamy natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup whole milk (or plant-based milk like almond or oat)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 68 ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice 2 ripe bananas into chunks.
  2. Place banana chunks, 1/3 cup peanut butter, 1 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional), and 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (optional) into the blender.
  3. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth. Add more milk if too thick.
  4. Add 6-8 ice cubes and blend for another 20-30 seconds until chilled and frosty. Adjust thickness by adding more ice or milk as desired.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or peanut butter flavor by adding more honey/maple syrup or peanut butter and blend briefly.
  6. Pour into a glass or mason jar and serve immediately.

Notes

Warm peanut butter slightly if thick for smoother blending. Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness. Blend peanut butter with milk first to avoid clumps. Scrape blender sides during blending for even texture. Avoid overloading ice to keep creamy texture. Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 24 hours and stir before serving. Do not freeze.
