  • 12 teaspoons sugar or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • Pinch of sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Brew 1 cup (240 ml) of strong black coffee using your preferred method. Pour over ice cubes in a tall glass to chill. Set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl or jar, combine 1/2 cup (120 ml) cold milk, 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, a pinch of nutmeg, and 1-2 teaspoons sugar or maple syrup. Stir gently to mix evenly.
  3. Using a milk frother, froth the pumpkin milk mixture until it doubles in volume and becomes thick and airy, about 30-45 seconds. If using a jar, seal tightly and shake vigorously for 1-2 minutes until foamy.
  4. Pour the chilled black coffee over ice in your glass. Slowly spoon the pumpkin cold foam on top, letting it sit gently to form a fluffy cap.
  5. Drizzle 3 tablespoons of caramel sauce over the foam, allowing it to cascade down the sides. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt flakes on top.
  6. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon to stir the layers together if desired.
