A quick and easy homemade recipe for a creamy salted caramel cold foam layered over bold cold brew coffee, perfect for a refreshing and indulgent coffee treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold brew coffee concentrate
  • ยฝ cup (120 ml) heavy cream, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
  • โ…› teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon simple syrup or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes, enough to fill the glass

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes (about 1 to 1ยฝ cups / 240 to 360 ml ice). Pour in 1 cup (240 ml) of cold brew concentrate. If desired, add 1 teaspoon of simple syrup or your preferred sweetener. Stir gently and set aside.
  2. In a small mixing bowl or frothing jug, combine ยฝ cup (120 ml) heavy cream, 2 tablespoons caramel sauce, and a pinch (โ…› teaspoon) of sea salt.
  3. Using a milk frother or handheld electric mixer, froth the cream mixture on medium-high speed for about 1 to 2 minutes until it becomes thick, airy, and slightly holds its shape. If you donโ€™t have a frother, pour the mixture into a jar with a tight lid and shake vigorously for 2-3 minutes until foamy.
  4. Slowly spoon or pour the salted caramel cold foam over the cold brew coffee, letting it float on top to create a layered effect.
  5. Optional: Drizzle a little extra caramel sauce and a tiny sprinkle of sea salt over the foam for presentation and extra flavor. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon.

Notes

Use cold heavy cream for best frothing results. Warm caramel sauce slightly if too thick before mixing. Froth cream right before serving to keep foam light and fresh. Store leftover cold brew in fridge up to 3 days; foam best fresh but can be refrigerated up to 12 hours and re-whipped before serving.
