A quick and easy homemade milkshake combining fresh strawberries with tangy cream cheese and vanilla for a creamy, indulgent treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 4 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whole milk (240 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream (about 130 grams)
  • 45 ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place 4 ounces of softened full-fat cream cheese into a mixing bowl and beat until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add 1 cup hulled, sliced fresh strawberries and 2 tablespoons granulated sugar into a blender. Blend for 30 seconds until strawberries break down into a chunky puree. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  3. Add the beaten cream cheese, 1 cup whole milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to the blender. Blend on medium speed for about 1 minute until smooth and creamy with no lumps.
  4. Add 1 cup vanilla ice cream and 4-5 ice cubes for extra chill. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until thick and frothy.
  5. Check consistency; if too thick, add a splash more milk and blend briefly. If too thin, add more ice cream. Pour into tall glasses and garnish with a fresh strawberry or whipped cream if desired.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese to avoid lumps. Blend in stages for smooth texture. Use ripe strawberries or slightly thaw frozen berries. Adjust sugar to taste. For a thicker shake, freeze strawberries beforehand or add less milk. Vegan and low-sugar variations available.
