A quick and easy creamy strawberry milkshake made with fresh berries, vanilla ice cream, and milk. This luscious shake is perfect for any occasion and offers a nostalgic, fresh flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh berries for garnish (a few strawberries or mixed berries)

Instructions

  1. Rinse about 1 cup (150 grams) of fresh strawberries. Remove the green stems and slice them roughly.
  2. In your blender, combine the sliced strawberries, 2 cups (480 ml) vanilla ice cream, 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk, 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional), and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  3. Pulse the blender on high for about 30 to 45 seconds until smooth and creamy with no visible chunks. Adjust thickness by adding more milk or ice cream as needed.
  4. Taste and add more honey or syrup if desired, then blend for an additional 10 seconds.
  5. Pour the milkshake into tall glasses and garnish with fresh berries. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a thicker shake, reduce milk or add ice cubes. Use ripe strawberries for best flavor. Soften ice cream slightly before blending. Freeze strawberries for at least an hour for an extra cold shake. Avoid over-blending to prevent runny texture.
