A quick and easy creamy strawberry protein shake made with just three main ingredients, perfect for a healthy breakfast, post-workout refuel, or afternoon snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (150g) frozen strawberries
  • 1 scoop (~30g) vanilla protein powder (whey or plant-based)
  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • Optional: 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • Optional: 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Optional: 1/4 cup (60g) Greek yogurt
  • Optional: a handful of spinach or kale

Instructions

  1. Measure 1 cup (150g) frozen strawberries, 1 scoop (~30g) vanilla protein powder, and 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk.
  2. Place the frozen strawberries into the blender first, then add the protein powder on top. Pour the almond milk over everything.
  3. Blend on high for 45-60 seconds until smooth and creamy. Add more almond milk if too thick.
  4. Taste and add 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup if desired, then blend for another 10 seconds.
  5. If using, add chia seeds, greens, or Greek yogurt and blend for an additional 15 seconds.
  6. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

Use small-curd frozen strawberries for best texture. Adjust thickness by varying almond milk amount. Avoid over-blending to prevent warming the shake. Store in fridge up to 24 hours; shake before drinking. Freeze leftovers in ice cube trays for later smoothies.
