A refreshing and indulgent cold brew coffee topped with a light, airy sweet cream foam flavored with vanilla. Perfect for a quick pick-me-up or a casual treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold brew coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ยฝ cup (120 ml) cold heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Optional: ยผ cup (60 ml) milk or milk alternative (almond or oat milk)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your cold brew by steeping coarsely ground coffee in cold water for 12-24 hours, then strain, or use store-bought cold brew chilled.
  2. Fill a glass with about 1 cup (240 grams) of ice cubes.
  3. Pour 1 cup (240 ml) of cold brew coffee over the ice.
  4. In a separate bowl or jar, combine ยฝ cup (120 ml) cold heavy cream, 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  5. Whip the cream mixture using a milk frother or handheld whisk until soft peaks form (1-2 minutes with frother, 3-5 minutes by hand). Do not overwhip.
  6. Spoon or pour the sweet cream foam gently over the cold brew to create a layered effect.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy. Stir lightly if desired.

Notes

Chill heavy cream and utensils before whipping for best results. Do not overwhip the cream to avoid grainy texture or butter formation. Use large ice cubes to keep the drink chilled longer without diluting. For dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and sweetened condensed milk with coconut-based sweetener.
