  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ยฝ cup heavy cream (120 ml), cold
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon strawberry syrup

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberry milk base: In a blender, combine 1 cup hulled and chopped fresh strawberries, 1 cup whole milk, and 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds. Optionally strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds. Set aside.
  2. Chill the heavy cream: Place ยฝ cup of heavy cream in a mixing bowl and chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Whip the vanilla cream: Using an electric mixer, beat the chilled heavy cream on medium-high speed. When it starts to thicken, add 1 tablespoon powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Continue whipping until soft peaks form, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Assemble the drink: Pour the strawberry milk into a tall glass, filling about ยพ full. Gently spoon or pipe the whipped vanilla cream on top.
  5. Optional finishing touch: Drizzle 1 tablespoon strawberry syrup or add fresh strawberry slices on top.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Use cold heavy cream and chill the mixing bowl for best whipping results. Do not overwhip the cream; stop at soft peaks. Adjust sugar to taste depending on strawberry sweetness. Frozen strawberries can be used if thawed and drained. For dairy-free, substitute coconut cream and plant-based milk. Whipped cream can be made up to 24 hours ahead and stored refrigerated.
