Creamy White Russian Cocktail

creamy white russian cocktail recipe - featured image

A quick and easy creamy White Russian cocktail recipe featuring vodka, coffee liqueur, and heavy cream for a luxurious and comforting treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz (60 ml) vodka
  • 1 oz (30 ml) coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlรบa)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) heavy cream (can substitute with half-and-half or coconut cream for dairy-free)
  • Ice cubes (preferably large cubes)
  • Optional garnish: freshly grated nutmeg or a coffee bean

Instructions

  1. Fill your glass with 4-5 large ice cubes (about 120-150 grams).
  2. Pour 2 oz (60 ml) vodka gently over the ice.
  3. Add 1 oz (30 ml) coffee liqueur carefully.
  4. Slowly pour 1 oz (30 ml) heavy cream over the back of a spoon onto the drink to create a layered effect, or pour and stir for a blended creamy texture.
  5. Gently stir to combine the ingredients without melting too much ice.
  6. Garnish with a light dusting of freshly grated nutmeg or a single coffee bean, if desired.

Notes

Use large ice cubes to slow melting and avoid dilution. Keep cream cold for silky texture. Pour cream slowly over the back of a spoon for a layered look. Chill your glass ahead of time for best results. Avoid over-stirring to maintain creaminess. For dairy-free versions, substitute heavy cream with coconut or oat cream and use dairy-free coffee liqueur.
