A quick and easy iced coffee recipe that can be prepped in under 5 minutes and stored in jars for up to 3 days, perfect for busy mornings. Smooth, creamy, and customizable with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold brew coffee per jar
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk or milk alternative per jar (whole milk, almond, oat, or coconut milk)
  • 12 teaspoons sweetener (simple syrup, honey, maple syrup, or flavored syrups) to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Ice cubes, about 1/2 to 3/4 cup (120-180 ml) per jar

Instructions

  1. Whisk together milk, sweetener, and vanilla extract in a small bowl or measuring cup until the sweetener dissolves completely (~2 minutes).
  2. Fill each mason jar halfway with ice cubes (~1 minute).
  3. Pour 1 cup (240 ml) of cold brew coffee over the ice in each jar (~1 minute).
  4. Top off each jar with 1/2 cup (120 ml) of the prepared sweetened milk (~1 minute).
  5. Seal the jars tightly and shake each jar for 10-15 seconds to blend and create a frothy top (~1 minute).
  6. Store jars in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or enjoy immediately. Shake again before drinking if refrigerated (~1 minute).

Notes

Use medium roast cold brew for balanced flavor. Dissolve sweetener in milk before adding to coffee to avoid grit. Shake jars well before drinking to remix ingredients and create frothy texture. Store jars in fridge up to 3 days; do not freeze. Large ice cubes melt slower and reduce dilution. Customize with cinnamon, flavored syrups, or chocolate syrup for variations.
