This easy iced vanilla oat milk latte in 5 minutes is a quick, creamy, and budget-friendly coffee shop alternative made with simple ingredients. It’s perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and ready in under five minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots (about 60ml) freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened oat milk
  • 12 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 12 teaspoons maple syrup or agave nectar (optional)
  • 1 cup (about 150g) ice cubes
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Cinnamon or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew your coffee or espresso. Let it cool for about 60 seconds.
  2. While the coffee brews, add oat milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup (if using), and a pinch of sea salt to a cocktail shaker or mason jar.
  3. Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until frothy.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  5. Pour the shaken oat milk mixture over the ice.
  6. Pour the brewed coffee over the top, slowly over the back of a spoon to create layers.
  7. Garnish with cinnamon or cocoa powder if desired. Stir gently and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use cold oat milk straight from the fridge. Let brewed coffee cool for at least a minute to prevent curdling. If you don’t have a shaker, a mason jar works perfectly. Adjust sweetness to taste.
