A stunning and refreshing cocktail combining the effervescence of champagne with the vibrant, tart-sweet flavor of pomegranate juice. Perfect for celebrations and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Dry or semi-dry champagne (Prosecco or sparkling wine as alternatives)
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) pomegranate juice per serving
  • 1/2 ounce (15 ml) simple syrup (optional)
  • Fresh pomegranate seeds for garnish
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill champagne or sparkling wine in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  2. If using, prepare simple syrup by heating 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan until dissolved. Let it cool.
  3. Chill champagne flutes in the freezer for about 10 minutes before serving.
  4. Pour 2 ounces (60 ml) of pomegranate juice into each flute. Adjust to 1.5 ounces (45 ml) for a lighter flavor.
  5. Add 1/2 ounce (15 ml) of simple syrup to the flutes if a sweeter cocktail is preferred, and gently stir.
  6. Slowly pour chilled champagne or sparkling wine into the flute until full, tilting the glass slightly to preserve bubbles.
  7. Garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds and a sprig of rosemary.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy.
