Energizing Ginger Citrus Brew

A refreshing drink combining the zing of ginger, tangy citrus, and natural sweetness, perfect for hydration and immune-boosting benefits.

Ingredients

  • 23 tablespoons fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 large oranges, juiced
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 23 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 cups chilled water
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and thinly slice fresh ginger, about 2-3 tablespoons.
  2. Juice 2 large oranges and 2 lemons using a citrus juicer. Set aside.
  3. In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add sliced ginger and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine ginger-infused water, citrus juice, and 4 cups of chilled water. Stir well.
  5. Add 2-3 tablespoons of honey or preferred sweetener. Stir until dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
  6. Add a handful of ice cubes to the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Serve in glasses, garnish with mint leaves, and enjoy!
