A warm, spiced cocktail combining the cinnamon kick of Fireball whiskey with the sweet tang of apple cider, perfect for cozy fall nights and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 1 cup Fireball whiskey
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced (optional)
  • Ground cinnamon, for garnish
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour 4 cups (950 ml) of apple cider into a medium saucepan. Warm it over medium heat until itโ€™s steaming but not boiling, about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  2. Add 2 cinnamon sticks to the cider and let them steep for another 5 minutes. If youโ€™re using additional spices like cloves or nutmeg, toss them in now.
  3. Stir in 1 cup (240 ml) of Fireball whiskey. Adjust the amount to your tasteโ€”start small if you prefer a lighter drink. Heat for 2-3 more minutes, but donโ€™t let it boil as alcohol will evaporate.
  4. While the cider is warming, slice 1 apple and 1 orange into thin rounds. Arrange them on a plate for easy serving.
  5. Ladle the warm cider into mugs or heatproof glasses. Garnish each serving with a cinnamon stick, an apple slice, and an optional orange slice.
  6. If youโ€™re feeling indulgent, top the cider with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
  7. Serve immediately while warm and cozy up with your perfect fall drink!

Notes

[‘Donโ€™t boil the cider to avoid altering the flavor and losing the alcohol content.’, ‘Adjust the sweetness by adding a splash of lemon juice if needed.’, ‘Experiment with additional spices like star anise, cloves, or ginger for a more complex flavor.’, ‘Use fresh apple and orange slices for better presentation and taste.’, ‘For a dessert-style cocktail, add whipped cream and caramel drizzle on top.’]
