A simple, refreshing spa water made with fresh cucumber, melon, and mint leaves that hydrates and soothes with clean, natural flavors. Perfect for hot days and summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced (about 1/8 inch thick)
  • 1 ยฝ cups melon cubes (honeydew or cantaloupe)
  • 1012 fresh mint leaves, torn slightly
  • 6 cups (1.4 liters) cold filtered or spring water
  • Ice cubes, as needed for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash the cucumber and melon thoroughly.
  2. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cube the melon into roughly 1-inch pieces.
  4. Gently tear the mint leaves by hand to release their oils.
  5. Add cucumber slices, melon cubes, and torn mint leaves to a large pitcher.
  6. Pour in 6 cups of cold filtered water over the ingredients.
  7. Stir gently with a long spoon to combine without bruising the mint.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (2-3 hours or overnight is ideal).
  9. Before serving, add plenty of ice cubes to the pitcher or individual glasses.
  10. Garnish with a sprig of mint or extra cucumber slice if desired.

Notes

Use fresh, firm ingredients for best flavor. Avoid over-muddling mint to prevent bitterness. Chill for at least 1 hour to infuse flavors; longer infusion intensifies taste but avoid too long to prevent melon breakdown. Serve with ice and garnish for best presentation. Consume within 48 hours for freshness. Sparkling water can be used instead of still water for a bubbly version.
