A crisp, refreshing fruit salad featuring a vibrant mix of apples, grapes, peaches, berries, and citrus, tossed with a light honey-lime dressing and fresh mint for a perfect balance of flavor and texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium apples, cored and diced (preferably Honeycrisp)
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved (red or green)
  • 2 ripe peaches or nectarines, sliced thinly
  • 1 cup blueberries or mixed berries (fresh or thawed frozen)
  • 1 medium orange, peeled and segmented
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon toasted chopped nuts (pecans or almonds, optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash all fruit thoroughly. Core and dice apples into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Halve the grapes, slice peaches thinly (peeling optional), and segment the orange carefully to avoid pith.
  3. In a small bowl or jar, combine raw honey (or maple syrup) with freshly squeezed lime juice. Whisk or shake until smooth.
  4. Stir in chopped mint leaves if using.
  5. Gently combine all prepared fruit in a large mixing bowl.
  6. Pour dressing over fruit and toss lightly using a spatula or large spoon, folding gently to avoid crushing berries.
  7. Optionally sprinkle toasted nuts or cinnamon over the top and gently toss again.
  8. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes before serving to let flavors meld.
  9. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh mint or a light dusting of cinnamon if desired.

Notes

Use firm, ripe fruit to maintain vibrant textures. Toss apples immediately with lime juice to prevent browning. Handle berries gently to avoid bruising. Dress fruit just before serving for best freshness. Optional nuts and cinnamon add texture and warmth. Can substitute maple syrup for honey for vegan version. Frozen berries should be thawed and drained to avoid watery salad.
