Fresh Morning Celery Juice Recipe with Cucumber and Lemon for Easy Detox

  • 45 medium celery stalks, roughly chopped
  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled if waxed, chopped
  • Juice of ยฝ fresh lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold filtered water
  • Ice cubes (optional, a handful)
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse 4-5 celery stalks and 1 medium cucumber under cold water. Chop into roughly 1-2 inch pieces for easier blending.
  2. Cut half a lemon and squeeze out about 1 tablespoon of fresh juice, avoiding seeds. Set aside.
  3. Place chopped celery, cucumber, and 1 cup cold filtered water into your blender. Blend on high for 45 seconds until smooth with no large chunks.
  4. Pour the blended juice through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag into a pitcher or glass. Press out as much liquid as possible to remove fibrous bits.
  5. Stir in the fresh lemon juice and a pinch of sea salt if using.
  6. Add a handful of ice cubes if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 24 hours.

Notes

Use fresh, firm celery for best flavor. Chill ingredients before blending for a more refreshing juice. Straining is optional depending on desired texture. Fresh lemon juice is preferred over bottled for brightness. Consume juice soon after making for maximum nutrients. Adding a pinch of sea salt enhances flavor and reduces bitterness. For a sweeter or creamier variation, add green apple, ginger, coconut water, or almond milk.
