A refreshing and light summer sangria featuring fresh white peaches, crisp Sauvignon Blanc, and a hint of mint. Perfect for casual gatherings or relaxing afternoons.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large ripe white peaches, sliced into 1/4 inch wedges
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry Sauvignon Blanc with citrus and tropical fruit notes
  • 1012 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup peach schnapps (optional)
  • 1 cup club soda or sparkling water
  • Juice of 1 fresh lime
  • 12 tablespoons sugar or honey (optional)
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice 3 large white peaches into thin wedges about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Place 10-12 fresh mint leaves at the bottom of a large pitcher. Gently muddle with a muddler or wooden spoon to release aroma without bruising.
  3. Add sliced peaches to the pitcher, pour in the entire 750 ml bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.
  4. Squeeze in the juice from one fresh lime and add 1/4 cup peach schnapps if using. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Taste and add 1-2 tablespoons sugar or honey if a sweeter profile is desired. Stir until dissolved.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, ideally 4 hours, to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Just before serving, add 1 cup of club soda or sparkling water and stir gently.
  8. Fill glasses with ice cubes, add peach slices and mint leaves, then pour sangria over. Garnish with extra mint sprig or peach slice.

Notes

Muddle mint gently to avoid bitterness. Chill sangria for at least 2 hours for best flavor. Add sparkling water just before serving to keep fizz. Use ripe peaches for best taste and texture. Frozen peaches can be used if thawed completely. For non-alcoholic version, substitute Sauvignon Blanc with white grape juice and skip schnapps.
