The Frosted Cranberry Margarita is a festive and flavorful holiday drink combining the tartness of cranberries, the zing of lime, and the warmth of tequila. It’s easy to make and perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 ounces silver or blanco tequila
  • 1 ounce triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • Sugar and salt for rimming the glass
  • Mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass. Dip the rim into a mixture of sugar and salt.
  2. Add 1 cup of fresh or frozen cranberries, 2 tablespoons of simple syrup, and 2 tablespoons of water to the blender. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. In a cocktail shaker or large jar, combine 2 ounces of tequila, 1 ounce of triple sec, 1 ounce of lime juice, and 2 tablespoons of cranberry puree. Shake or stir well.
  4. Add the mixed cocktail and 1 cup of crushed ice to the blender. Blend until frosty and smooth.
  5. Carefully pour the frosted margarita into your prepared glass. Garnish with a few fresh cranberries, a sprig of mint, and a lime wedge.
