Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach or kale, packed
  • 1 teaspoon moringa powder
  • 1 small frozen banana, sliced
  • ยฝ cup plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free coconut yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 cup filtered water or unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse 1 cup of baby spinach or kale under cold water and pat dry.
  2. Slice the frozen banana; if not pre-frozen, peel, slice, and freeze for at least 2 hours.
  3. Pour 1 cup of filtered water or unsweetened almond milk into the blender.
  4. Add the greens, frozen banana slices, ยฝ cup Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt, 1 teaspoon moringa powder, and 1 tablespoon chia seeds if using.
  5. Blend on high: pulse a few times, then blend continuously for about 45 seconds until smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice. If desired, add 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup and blend for 10 more seconds.
  7. Pour into a glass or insulated cup and enjoy immediately. If too thick, add a splash of water or almond milk and blend briefly.

Notes

Add liquid before greens and powders to help blender blades move smoothly. Use frozen banana for creaminess without ice. Start with half teaspoon moringa powder if new to avoid bitterness. Blend just enough to keep fresh flavors. Clean blender immediately after use to prevent moringa powder sticking. Adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup as desired.
