Iced Honey Chai Latte

Iced Honey Chai Latte

This Iced Honey Chai Latte is a creamy, sweet, and spicy fall drink that’s easy to make at home. It combines strong chai tea, honey, and milk over ice for a refreshing yet cozy treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 chai tea bag or 1 tablespoon loose-leaf chai
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
  • 1/2 to 2/3 cup milk (oat, almond, dairy, or preferred milk)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: Pinch of cinnamon for topping

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water and steep the chai tea bag or loose-leaf chai (in an infuser) for 5-7 minutes for a strong brew.
  2. While the tea is still hot, stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey until fully dissolved.
  3. Let the chai cool to room temperature, then chill in the fridge for 10 minutes (or freezer for 3-4 minutes).
  4. Fill a glass or mason jar with ice cubes.
  5. Pour 1/2 to 2/3 cup of your chosen milk over the ice.
  6. Slowly pour the cooled, honey-sweetened chai over the milk and ice. Stir gently to combine.
  7. Optional: Add a splash of vanilla extract or a sprinkle of cinnamon on top before serving.

Notes

For a vegan version, use maple syrup or agave instead of honey and plant-based milk. Steep the chai longer for a bolder flavor. Chill the tea before pouring over ice to avoid watering down. Use chai ice cubes for extra flavor. Froth the milk for a café-style finish if desired.
