Irresistible Apple Pie Moonshine Recipe – Easy Autumn Drink

A warm and comforting autumn drink that combines the sweetness of apples, warming spices, and a kick of alcohol to create a liquid version of apple pie. Perfect for cozy nights or festive fall gatherings.

  • 1 gallon apple cider (preferably unfiltered)
  • 1 liter apple juice
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 10 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 750 ml Everclear or grain alcohol
  • 750 ml vodka

Instructions

  1. Pour 1 gallon of apple cider and 1 liter of apple juice into a large stockpot. Set the heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  2. Stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar until fully dissolved.
  3. Add 10 cinnamon sticks, 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg, and 1 teaspoon of ground cloves. Stir in 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract if desired.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove the pot from heat and let the mixture cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, stir in 750 ml of Everclear and 750 ml of vodka. Mix until combined and adjust alcohol content if needed.
  7. Use a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to strain out the spices.
  8. Pour the moonshine into glass jars or bottles, seal tightly, and store in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.
