A colorful, fruity cocktail with a tangy-sweet candy rim that brings tropical bliss to your glass. Perfect for parties or a treat-yourself moment.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Hard candy, crushed into small pieces (bright colors like red, orange, or pink)
  • 4 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 oz mango juice
  • 1 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 oz white rum (or substitute with vodka)
  • Splash of grenadine
  • Ice cubes
  • Splash of water (for moistening the rim)

Instructions

  1. Crush the hard candy into fine pieces using a blender, food processor, or zip-top bag with a rolling pin. Pour the crushed candy onto a small plate.
  2. Pour a small amount of water or lime juice onto another plate. Dip the rim of your glass into the liquid, ensuring itโ€™s evenly coated.
  3. Immediately dip the moistened glass rim into the crushed candy, rotating gently to cover it completely. Let it sit for a minute to adhere.
  4. In a cocktail shaker, combine pineapple juice, mango juice, lime juice, white rum, and a splash of grenadine.
  5. Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake thoroughly for about 30 seconds until cold and well mixed.
  6. Fill your candy-rimmed glass with ice, then pour the cocktail mixture over the ice. Garnish with a slice of pineapple or lime wedge if desired.

Notes

[‘Use fresh juices for better flavor.’, ‘Donโ€™t over-crush the candy; small pieces stick better.’, ‘Chill your glass before preparing the rim for a frosty finish.’, ‘Prepare candy rims ahead of time and store glasses upright in the fridge.’]
