A fizzy dessert drink with rich butterscotch flavor and caramel soda notes, perfect for any occasion and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (90 g) butterscotch chips
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (240 ml) club soda per serving
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) heavy cream (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)
  • Caramel drizzle (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butterscotch chips: In a small saucepan over low heat, gently melt 1/2 cup (90 g) of butterscotch chips, stirring frequently to avoid burning. Once smooth, remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Add vanilla extract: Stir 1 tsp (5 ml) of vanilla extract into the melted butterscotch mixture for an extra depth of flavor.
  3. Prepare your glasses: Fill your glasses halfway with ice cubes to keep the drink perfectly chilled.
  4. Layer the drink: Pour 1/4 cup (60 ml) of the butterscotch mixture over the ice cubes in each glass.
  5. Add the soda: Slowly pour 1 cup (240 ml) of club soda into each glass, letting the fizz mix naturally with the butterscotch layer.
  6. Optional cream topping: If desired, add 2 tbsp (30 ml) of heavy cream to each glass for a creamy twist. Stir gently to combine.
  7. Garnish: Top with whipped cream and drizzle caramel sauce over the top for a finishing touch.
  8. Serve immediately: Enjoy your drink while itโ€™s fresh and fizzy!
