spring sangria recipe - featured image

A light, fruity, and refreshing white wine sangria packed with seasonal flavors, perfect for sunny days and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 cup club soda
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned in juice)
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1 handful mint leaves
  • 23 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash all the fruits thoroughly. Slice the strawberries, oranges, and lime into thin rounds. Cut the pineapple into bite-sized chunks.
  2. In a large pitcher, pour the white wine and freshly squeezed orange juice. Add 2-3 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup if you prefer a slightly sweeter sangria.
  3. Gently toss the sliced strawberries, oranges, lime, and pineapple chunks into the pitcher. Stir lightly with a wooden spoon to combine.
  4. Pour in the club soda and give the mix a gentle stir. Be careful not to over-stir, as you donโ€™t want to lose the carbonation.
  5. Add a handful of fresh mint leaves to the sangria and gently press them against the side of the pitcher to release their aroma. Let the sangria sit in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours so the flavors can meld together. (If youโ€™re short on time, 30 minutes will do, but longer is better!)
  6. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the sangria over the top. Make sure each glass gets a mix of fruit for a festive touch. Garnish with extra mint leaves or a strawberry on the rim for added flair.

Notes

[‘Choose a dry white wine like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio for the best flavor balance.’, ‘Let the sangria chill in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.’, ‘Add ice just before serving to keep the sangria chilled without diluting it.’, ‘Adjust sweetness by adding more honey or agave syrup if needed.’, ‘Remove mint leaves after the first day if storing leftovers to prevent overpowering the drink.’]
