Tiramisu Latte Recipe - featured image

This tiramisu latte combines the rich flavors of espresso, mascarpone, and cocoa for a creamy, indulgent drink perfect for cozy winter mornings or holiday brunches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots (60 ml) espresso
  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) mascarpone cheese
  • 12 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Brew the espresso: Prepare 2 shots (about 60 ml) of espresso using your machine or stovetop espresso maker. Set aside.
  2. Heat the milk: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup (240 ml) of milk and 2 tablespoons (30 g) of mascarpone. Stir gently until the mascarpone melts and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add sweetness: Stir in 1-2 teaspoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon of coffee liqueur (if using). Heat until warm but not boiling.
  4. Froth the milk: Use a frother or whisk to create a fluffy foam. If youโ€™re using a jar, shake the warm milk vigorously for about 30 seconds.
  5. Assemble the latte: Pour the espresso into your mug, followed by the frothy milk mixture. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Finish with cocoa: Dust the top with cocoa powder using a fine mesh sieve for that classic tiramisu touch.

Notes

For best results, use freshly brewed espresso and froth the milk thoroughly. Adjust sweetness to taste and experiment with garnishes like cinnamon or caramel drizzle.
