A sparkling and festive Prosecco cocktail enhanced with tasteless, food-grade edible glitter for effortless celebrations and a magical touch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle dry or extra dry Prosecco
  • 1/4 teaspoon food-grade edible glitter (gum arabic or mica-based pearlescent pigments)
  • Fresh lemon zest (optional)
  • Fresh berries such as raspberries or blueberries (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill the champagne flutes or stemmed glasses in the fridge or freezer for about 15 minutes.
  2. Measure about 1/4 teaspoon of edible glitter and gently mix it with 1 tablespoon of Prosecco in a small bowl to avoid clumps (optional).
  3. Pour the glitter mixture into the chilled glass.
  4. Slowly pour 4 to 5 ounces (120-150 ml) of Prosecco into the glass, pouring gently to keep bubbles and glitter dancing.
  5. If desired, add 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of simple syrup and stir lightly without over-stirring.
  6. Garnish with a twist of fresh lemon zest or a few fresh berries.
  7. Serve immediately to enjoy the sparkle and fizz.

Notes

Use only food-grade edible glitter designed for beverages to ensure safety and tasteless sparkle. Chill glasses beforehand to keep bubbles crisp. Pour Prosecco slowly to preserve bubbles. Avoid shaking the bottle before opening. Stir gently if adding simple syrup to maintain fizz. Best served fresh; leftovers lose sparkle and bubbles.
