  • 68 fresh raspberries (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice (never bottled)
  • ยพ ounce simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water)

  2. Optional: Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of the glass, then dip the rim into coarse sugar to coat evenly. Set aside.
  3. Place 6-8 fresh raspberries in a cocktail shaker and gently muddle for about 20 seconds until juice is released but berries are not pulverized.
  4. Add 2 ounces vodka, 1 ounce fresh lemon juice, ยพ ounce simple syrup, and ยฝ ounce triple sec if using to the shaker.
  5. Fill the shaker halfway with ice cubes (about 5-6 cubes).
  6. Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

  8. Garnish with a fresh raspberry or a thin lemon twist on the rim.

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor. Gently muddle raspberries to avoid cloudiness. Keep vodka chilled to prevent dilution. Adjust simple syrup to taste if too tart or too sweet. Strain well to remove seeds.
