Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 oz (90 ml) pumpkin spice creamer (dairy or non-dairy, chilled)
  • 1.5 oz (45 ml) coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa or Tia Maria)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) vodka (plain, not flavored)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Ice cubes (about 1 cup or 5-6 large cubes)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for serving)
  • Freshly grated nutmeg (optional, for garnish)
  • Cinnamon stick (optional, for garnish)
  • Caramel drizzle (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Chill the pumpkin spice creamer, coffee liqueur, and vodka if possible.
  2. Add a big handful of ice cubes (about 1 cup or 5-6 large cubes) to a cocktail shaker.
  3. Pour in 3 oz pumpkin spice creamer, 1.5 oz coffee liqueur, 1 oz vodka, and a pinch of ground cinnamon.
  4. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the shaker feels icy cold.
  5. Place a few fresh ice cubes in a rocks glass (optional). Strain the cocktail into the glass.
  6. Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg, and garnish with a cinnamon stick or caramel drizzle if desired.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy while cold and creamy.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use plant-based pumpkin spice creamer. Adjust sweetness with maple syrup if desired. Shake well for a frothy texture. For a hot version, gently heat the creamer and liqueur (do not boil) and serve in a mug. Can be made ahead (without ice and whipped cream) and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
